cargo-partner, a global logistics provider and part of the Nippon Express Group, has enhanced its UK–Poland road freight service, aiming to offer faster transit times, higher frequency and greater reliability for customers moving cargo between the two markets.

The upgraded service features more frequent departures, optimised routing and improved consolidation options, responding to rising demand from sectors such as automotive, industrial goods, FMCG and e-commerce. The company said the enhancement is designed to support both full truckload (FTL) and less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments.

    Faster and more reliable connections

cargo-partner has streamlined its linehaul operations between key logistics hubs in the UK and Poland, enabling shorter transit times and better schedule predictability. Enhanced tracking and proactive shipment monitoring have also been introduced to provide customers with greater visibility across the corridor.

    Supporting growing trade flows

Trade between the UK and Central and Eastern Europe has continued to grow as companies diversify supply chains and nearshore production. Poland, in particular, has emerged as a major manufacturing and distribution base for Europe, increasing the need for robust road freight links with the UK.

    Sustainability focus

The enhanced service also incorporates route optimisation and modern vehicle deployment to reduce emissions per shipment. cargo-partner said it is working with transport partners to gradually increase the use of low-emission trucks on the corridor, in line with the group’s sustainability goals.

    Outlook

With the service upgrade, cargo-partner aims to strengthen its position in pan-European road logistics, offering customers a dependable alternative amid ongoing capacity and cost pressures across transport modes. The company indicated that further enhancements on key European trade lanes are planned in the coming months.
