State-owned Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) has flagged off a shipment of 34 company-owned 20-foot containers from its Inland Container Depot (ICD) at Dhandari Kalan, Ludhiana, marking another milestone in strengthening Punjab’s connectivity with global markets through integrated multimodal logistics.
The consignment, dispatched on June 30, 2026, is destined for Khor Al Fakkan Port in the United Arab Emirates via Mundra Port, demonstrating CONCOR’s ability to provide seamless end-to-end logistics solutions linking India’s industrial hubs with international trade gateways.
As part of the movement, CONCOR arranged first-mile transportation by collecting cargo directly from the customer’s manufacturing facility using its specialized tilter trucks before moving the containers to ICD Dhandari Kalan. From there, the cargo is being transported by rail to Mundra Port for onward shipment to the UAE.
To simplify the logistics process, CONCOR is issuing a single Bill of Lading (BL) for the entire shipment, enabling customers to benefit from streamlined documentation and an integrated door-to-port logistics solution.
The successful execution of the export movement also highlights CONCOR’s operational resilience and supply chain capabilities amid a challenging global geopolitical environment. The company said the achievement reflects its commitment to ensuring uninterrupted cargo movement while offering reliable and efficient multimodal transport services.
The shipment is expected to further strengthen customer confidence in CONCOR’s integrated logistics network and support future business growth from Punjab, one of India’s key industrial and manufacturing regions.
