Ocean Network Express (ONE) has announced an update to its East Coast South America (ECSA) Service SX2, as part of ongoing efforts to optimize network efficiency and enhance service reliability.

The revised SX2 rotation is expected to improve transit times and streamline port coverage across key trade lanes linking Asia with the East Coast of South America. The changes come amid evolving cargo demand and shifting trade patterns in the region.

According to the company, the update will involve adjustments to port calls and scheduling, aimed at reducing congestion-related delays and ensuring more predictable service delivery. The SX2 service plays a vital role in connecting major export and import markets, supporting sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, and consumer goods.

Industry observers note that carriers are increasingly fine-tuning their service networks to adapt to market volatility, port congestion, and operational challenges. Enhancements to services like SX2 are critical in maintaining competitiveness and meeting customer expectations.

Ocean Network Express said the revised network will offer improved connectivity and greater flexibility for shippers, reinforcing its commitment to providing efficient and reliable logistics solutions.

The move underscores a broader trend among global shipping lines to continuously adjust service configurations in response to dynamic trade conditions and supply chain requirements.
