On 1 July, Oman Air will begin direct four-times-weekly Boeing 787-9 flights from Muscat to Amsterdam.
The new service will offer 14-18 tonnes of cargo capacity in each direction.
The carrier will also increase its cargo capacity to London Heathrow later this year, with the launch of double-daily B787-9 flights from Muscat to the UK gateway in October. The second flights on the route will initially be added on four days a week, with a view to increasing to 14 a week by the summer of 2026.
“The launch of our Amsterdam service, along with increased frequencies to London, means we can offer our cargo customers greater flexibility and a wider global reach, supported by our modern fleet,” said Michael Duggan, head of cargo at Oman Air.
“We are proud to offer a high-quality, reliable service through our efficient, temperature-controlled cargo terminal in Muscat and the new routes are an opportunity for us to boost our cargo offering,” he added.
