Tiger Logistics, a fast-growing logistics and supply chain solutions provider, has announced an expansion of its operational footprint in Gujarat to support the increasing export-import (EXIM) activity in the solar energy sector.
The company is investing in enhanced warehousing, handling infrastructure, and specialised services tailored to the needs of solar equipment manufacturers and traders. The expansion will focus on key industrial hubs and port-linked locations to streamline movement of solar panels, inverters, batteries and related components.
“With renewable energy trade rising sharply, especially solar, we see strong demand for logistics solutions that can handle the sector’s unique supply chain requirements,” a Tiger Logistics spokesperson said. “Our expanded operations in Gujarat will help manufacturers and exporters manage efficiency, cost, and timeliness across global markets.”
Gujarat, with its strong industrial base and proximity to major ports such as Kandla and Hazira, has emerged as a significant node for renewable energy production and trade. Industry analysts note that growth in solar exports has accelerated as international markets adopt clean energy targets and look to diversify supply chains.
Tiger Logistics said the expansion includes investments in advanced inventory management systems, temperature-controlled facilities where required, and dedicated EXIM handling teams to improve cargo visibility and reduce turnaround times.
Local trade bodies and industry partners welcomed the development, pointing out that better logistics infrastructure is crucial for India’s competitiveness in the global solar supply chain.
The company expects the enhanced Gujarat operations to be fully functional in phases over the next several months, positioning Tiger Logistics to capture a larger share of the booming renewable energy trade.
