The Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NICDC Logistics Data Services Limited (NLDSL) to strengthen logistics efficiency, enhance supply chain visibility, and accelerate digital transformation in India’s apparel export sector.

The partnership aims to provide apparel exporters with advanced technology-driven logistics solutions, enabling greater access to logistics information, improved shipment tracking, and seamless integration with digital trade processes. The collaboration will also focus on facilitating competitive logistics pricing through digital bidding platforms, promoting logistics and allied services discovery, strengthening insurance-related provisions, and integrating exporters with national logistics platforms.

The MoU was signed at Apparel House in Gurugram by Shri Mithileshwar Thakur, Secretary General of AEPC, and representatives of NLDSL.

Through this strategic collaboration, AEPC and NLDSL seek to empower exporters with enhanced supply chain visibility and efficient logistics management, contributing to reduced operational costs and improved ease of doing business. The initiative is expected to support the competitiveness of India’s apparel exports in global markets by fostering greater transparency, efficiency, and digital adoption across the export logistics ecosystem.

The agreement aligns with the government’s broader vision of modernising logistics infrastructure and promoting technology-enabled trade facilitation to boost India’s export growth.
