Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) has strengthened its position as a leader in port efficiency and operational excellence, with four of its ports receiving recognition in the latest Logistics Port Performance Index (LPPI), a national benchmark that evaluates ports on critical performance parameters such as cargo handling efficiency, vessel turnaround time, berth productivity, and service quality.

Among the standout achievements, Mundra Port secured the No. 1 ranking in the Container Cargo category for ports handling more than 0.5 million TEUs, reflecting its strong operational capabilities and role as India’s largest container-handling gateway. The recognition highlights the port’s continued focus on efficiency, infrastructure excellence, and seamless cargo movement.

The LPPI rankings underscore APSEZ’s commitment to delivering world-class port services through advanced infrastructure, technology-driven operations, and customer-centric logistics solutions. The performance of multiple APSEZ ports in the index reinforces the company’s growing contribution to enhancing India’s maritime competitiveness and trade facilitation ecosystem.

The latest recognition reflects the collective efforts of APSEZ’s port teams, operational systems, and integrated logistics network in ensuring efficient cargo movement and supporting the country’s expanding trade requirements.
