CMA CGM has announced a revision of Freight All Kinds (FAK) rates for shipments originating from India and Pakistan, reflecting changing market conditions on key trade lanes.

The updated rates will apply to containerised cargo moving from major ports in India and Pakistan to select global destinations, including Europe, the Mediterranean and parts of North America, according to industry sources. The revision is aimed at aligning pricing with current demand-supply dynamics and operational costs.

Market participants said the move comes amid fluctuating vessel capacity and ongoing network adjustments by carriers serving the region. Exporters are advised to check the revised tariffs and effective dates with the carrier or local agents to assess the impact on freight costs.

CMA CGM has been periodically reviewing its FAK rates across several trade lanes as part of broader efforts to manage yield and maintain service reliability.
