The Rajasthan government has initiated the land identification process for developing the Dausa-Bandikui mega industrial and logistics hub. Covering 3,000 hectares, the project will be executed in phases and include industrial zones, logistics parks, IT centres, educational institutions, and residential townships. This initiative aligns with the Central government’s goal of establishing 20 mega industrial parks across India.
The government plans to use land from Rajasthan Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO), state resources, and private holdings. A private land aggregation policy is also being considered in the upcoming assembly session to simplify the acquisition process.
Rajasthan already houses two major investment regions, Khuskhera-Bhiwadi-Neemrana (KBN) and Marwar-Pali-Jodhpur (MPJ), which are part of the Central government’s mega park initiative. The Dausa-Bandikui project is set to become Rajasthan’s first greenfield mega park.
With Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth ₹35 lakh crore already signed, the state is expediting efforts to secure land for industrial development. Recently, officials inspected potential sites in Manda, Phulera, and Bichoon, particularly near the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor, to identify suitable locations for logistics parks and industrial areas.
The government aims to allocate 200-250 hectares for industrial and logistics zones as part of this expansive plan, strengthening Rajasthan’s position as a hub for large-scale manufacturing and logistics infrastructure.
