    Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ) reported a 3% year-on-year (YoY) growth in cargo volumes, handling 36.5 million metric tonnes (MMT) in February 2025. The growth was driven by strong performance in container and liquid & gas cargo segments.

    Key Highlights from APSEZ’s Operational Update

    • February 2025 cargo volume: 36.5 MMT, marking a 3% YoY growth.
      • Container cargo surged by 16% YoY.
      • Liquid & gas cargo increased by 12% YoY.
    • Year-to-date (YTD) February 2025 performance:
      • Total cargo handled: 408.7 MMT (+7% YoY).
      • Container volumes up 20% YoY.
      • Liquid & gas cargo up 9% YoY.
    • Logistics segment:
      • Rail volume: 0.58 million TEUs (+8% YoY).
      • GPWIS (General Purpose Wagon Investment Scheme) volumes: 19.9 MMT (+11% YoY).

    Adani Ports continues to expand its operational capacity, with strong growth in container handling and logistics volumes, reinforcing its position as India’s leading port operator.
